Hello Pet Lovers and Pawrents!
We are Cathal and Khieziah Moylan, the proud founders of Pet Friendly’s! Our journey into the world of pets began in 2020. We were finishing up our university degrees in Vancouver and on a year long waitlist to adopt a pet. Life as we know it does not always go to plan- the pandemic hit and we suddenly experienced a loss close to our hearts. We knew that we could not wait any longer… we needed that warmth, affection and radiant energy only a pet could bring.
With that, our vibrant labradoodle Coco pounced into our lives. We knew we had embarked on a joyous yet challenging journey with our new bundle of boundless energy! We had to learn on our feet, constantly adapting and finding ways to keep up with her. We found a new passion in taking care of her which in time turned into the start of Pet Friendly’s.
This venture is so much more than an e-commerce website or a retail shop, it’s a bridge between us and every pet parent out there who’s trying to become the best guardian they can be for their furry best friend. We firmly believe in the bond between humans and their pets, and we’re committed to helping others strengthen and nurture this unique connection.
When we moved back to the Philippines, we noticed that a lot of the pets we saw in public areas were subject to preconceived judgment and it didn’t matter if they were trained or not. We love to pamper our pets, but we think that with more accessible education and understanding of their behaviors, we can normalize pet friendly spaces and make it so that both pet parents and those who do not have pets feel comfortable sharing and enjoying the same space.
At Pet Friendly’s our goal is to strengthen the bond between pets and owners through education and sharing the joy of being around pets with everyone. We want you to feel comfortable with your pet joining you on your daily adventures without fear of judgemental looks and unwanted reactions. We want all pets and owners to enjoy each other’s companionship and to understand the give and take relationship of pet ownership.
We want to redefine pet care and go beyond simply meeting your pet’s needs. We are pet owners first and business owners second. The wellbeing and happiness of your pets is what is most important to us. We’ve attended educational sessions by experts in their fields, and we’ve gone the extra mile, making connections with brands that reflect the same love for their animals at pet expos and conventions to be informed and source only products that we personally stand by and love.
We understand that owning a pet can be overwhelming and the responsibilities of fitting pet ownership into your already busy lives can feel like a lot, but we are here to help! Our goal is to share both the joys and responsibilities of pet parenting with everyone and cultivate a vibrant community around the belief that our pets are family.
