We’ve always believed that the little things can make being a pet parent a whole lot more fun.
So when we started thinking about our Pick-A-Poop bag holders, we didn’t just want to find another generic poop bag dispenser. We wanted to create something that was functional, fun, customizable, and uniquely Pet Friendly’s.
And that’s exactly what we did — from the first sketch to the final 3D print, we designed and made our Pick-A-Poop bag holders right here at Pet Friendly’s.
From an Idea to Something You Can Hold
The idea behind Pick-A-Poop was simple: make one of those everyday pet-parent essentials a little more exciting.
Poop bags are something every responsible pet parent needs, but that doesn’t mean the dispenser has to be boring.
We wanted our bag holder to feel like something you’d actually enjoy carrying on your walks — and something that could match your personality, your pet, or even your favorite color.
That’s where the idea of a mix-and-match design came in.
With Pick-A-Poop, you can choose different body and lid colors to create your own combination. Whether you like bright and playful, cute and pastel, or something that matches your pet’s accessories, you can make it your own.
Designed & 3D Printed In-House
One of the things we're most excited about is
that Pick-A-Poop was designed and 3D printed internally by the Pet Friendly’s team.
We developed the design ourselves, tested the shape and functionality, experimented with different color combinations, and refined the details until we landed on a holder that we were happy to put our name on.
3D printing also gave us the flexibility to experiment.
Instead of committing to one design or one color, we can continuously develop and create new combinations and ideas — turning something as simple as a poop bag holder into a little piece of Pet Friendly’s creativity.
From designing the model to printing the finished piece, Pick-A-Poop is truly an in-house Pet Friendly’s creation.

We also chose to make our Pick-A-Poop holders using PLA (polylactic acid).
PLA is a bioplastic commonly made from renewable plant-based sources such as corn starch, rather than traditional petroleum-based plastics.
It is also biodegradable under suitable industrial composting conditions, making it a more plant-based material choice compared with conventional plastics.
We know that no single material makes a product automatically “zero impact,” and proper disposal conditions matter. But for us, choosing a plant-derived material was a small but intentional step toward being more thoughtful about the materials we use.
